Gurudev Sri Prem

His life journey begins within the scope of three words - Education, Values (Sanskar) and Environment, which continues even today.

Born on 15th August 1957, in 1963, at a young age, he planted the first guava plant, served it and made it fruitful. In the field of environment, a milestone of converting 10 lakh saplings into trees has been achieved. As a result of this, on 27th March, 2003, the then President Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, invited 40 children and 7 teachers of his school to the President House for the important role played in the field of education, environment, values, service, disaster and for the book release of “Dharmacharan” authored by  him.

He has worked religiously in the field of Education, Environment, Spirituality and many other community services. He runs a school in Patna by the name of Premalok Mission School, which is of very unique nature on its own. The motto of the school is Ek Divya Vaiktitwa Ke Nirman Ke Liye "Shiksha Sanskar Evam Paryavaran Ke Sath". He has been carrying the culture and traditions of our own Bharat Varsh through the very nature of the school. The school facilitates the home for many lives through its green and eco-friendly environment. The place serves food and water to many birds and other species. Several varieties of birds and other species can be found on the premises. The place has played a crucial role in preserving sparrows which are on the verge of becoming extinct but could easily be found on campus. He has extensively worked for the preservation and protection of the environment. He has once been awarded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji for the environmental cause and given the title of 'The Pride of Bihar', organised by Dainik Bhaskar. He has established a "Hari Kirtan Mandir" wherein hundreds of devotees come for kirtan every Saturday and Bhandara is served. A grand Bhandara and woolen blanket distribution program is being conducted every year on the death anniversary of Revered Saint Sri Sri 108 Naga Baba, who was the Guru of Sri Premnath Prasad. He is establishing a temple dedicated to the Kul Devta by the name of "Kul Dham Panchdev Hanuman Mandir", in Bihar itself near Patna. A concept called “Vastra Bank” with the slogan of “Jyada Hain De Jao, Kam Hain Le Jao” has been initiated by him for the availability of clothes to those in need. He has conducted several programs for years as a part of community service such as Burha Bargad for paying respect to the society's elders, Harit Bihar, Swakshata Aviyan, etc.

Apart from "Dharmacharam" which is the collection of words of Bhagwan Sri Ramchandra Ji and was released by Honourable A.P.J Abdul Kalam at the President House. He has also authored several parts of magazine by the name of Sanskar Jyoti. He has written thousands of thoughts related to spirituality, religion, politics, Nationalism, etc and has been compiled as "Premdhara" and served as the source of inspiration to many. Thoughts from Premdhara had been a part of a daily newspaper for a long time.

What else can be said about him? He is a yogi who has given up everything for the service of humanity. A saint who has renounced everything even in a householder’s life. One who has chosen the path of total surrender and service to humanity as a path to salvation. He is a Yogi, a Saint, Social worker and what not. He is a householder, still inspires others to think and work for the Nation, and always sets himself as an example for others to lead a spiritual life.

I congratulate you for your efforts and thanks for choosing him for the honor of Maharishi Sri Aurobindo Samman. I hope it would serve an inspiration to many in coming days. It is because of these initiatives of yours that even a common man in the society gets encouragement to take up good works like these.
